About the role:

We are seeking a skilled, senior-level SAP Developer to support the integration of Kyriba's CaaS (Connectivity-as-a-Service) platform with SAP S/4HANA and ECC. You will play a key technical role in designing, building, and supporting integrations for payment journals, FI postings, bank statements, and cash forecasting data flows. You will work closely with a Sr. Business Analyst and a Jr. Business Analyst who will provide functional guidance and program context.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions between Kyriba and SAP S/4HANA Finance, leveraging ABAP, HTTP / RFC services and RESTful APIs

  • Build and maintain data flows for:

    • Payment Documents (Outgoing Payments) and acknowledgements (incoming Acks)

    • Financial Document Postings (FI)

    • Bank Statement integrations (MT940, BAI, etc.)

    • Cash Forecasting integrations

  • Develop, test, and deploy solution packages that can be utilized by Kyriba customers to facilitate SAP integrations

  • Handle HTTP requests and responses in the context of SAP APIs and Kyriba's integration endpoints

  • Collaborate with business analysts to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions

  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, optimize performance, and ensure data integrity across systems

  • Document integration designs, configuration steps, and deployment instructions for customer-facing solutions

  • Support customers and internal teams during deployment and ongoing maintenance

Education, Experience & Skills:

Core Skills:

SAP Finance:

  • Strong understanding of SAP FI data models, especially for payment documents, FI postings, and bank statements

  • Experience working with SAP HTTP and RFC services and REST APIs

  • Knowledge of SAP communications and service enablement

  • Knowledge and understanding of SAP Payments processes including F110/F111 and Payments Medium Workbench/DMEE processing and underlying data structures, tables and IDocs

  • Experience with SAP extensibility features, including BADIs and User Exits

Integration Technologies:

  • Proficient in designing RESTful and API-based integrations

  • Experience with HTTP requests/responses, API authentication (OAuth 2.0, SAP Cloud Platform Identity), and error handling

  • Understanding of SAP Integration Suite (formerly SAP Cloud Platform Integration)

Programming Languages:

  • ABAP (for customizations, enhancements, and API service development)

Development Infrastructure:

  • Familiarity with SAP development environments

  • Experience with SAP Transport Management System (TMS) and change management

  • Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager for transport and deployment processes

Additional Integration Tools:

  • SAP Integration Suite / SAP Cloud Platform Integration (preferred)

  • Experience with SAP Process Integration (PI/PO) or SAP Data Services (a plus)

  • Knowledge of middleware platforms and integration patterns

Additional Skills/Experience:

  • Understanding of SAP FI processes (payments, general ledger, banking, cash management)

  • Ability to read/interpret integration specifications and data mapping documents

  • Experience with solution versioning, packaging, and deployment to customer environments

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to solving integration issues

  • Fluent English written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with IDOC processing and ALE/EDI concepts

  • Experience with Payments Medium Workbench / DMEE

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver or SAP S/4HANA

  • SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP S/4HANA Finance or similar

  • Experience creating enhancements to FI-AP, FI-AR, FI-BL (Bank Ledger), and FI-GL modules

  • Experience with Kyriba or other Treasury Management Systems (a plus)

  • Prior experience in a SaaS integration environment

  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori development and UI5 framework

  • Understanding of SAP Cloud Platform services and cloud-native development approaches

  • Experience with SAP ICC to achieve certifications of ABAP extensions
