We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales Manager / Senior Sales Engineer to lead the commercial development of Bently Nevada and Cordant Solutions in the Argentine market.
This role is focused on consultative, value-based selling of asset condition monitoring, machinery protection, reliability and industrial digital solutions to customers in industries such as Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Pulp & Paper, Chemicals, and Heavy Industry.
The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, proven success in complex B2B sales, and an established network within the industrial market in the South Cone (Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and Bolivia).
As Senior Sales Manager you will be responsible for:
- Develop and execute the sales strategy for Bently Nevada and Cordant Solutions in Argentina.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and opportunity qualification to negotiation and closing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with end users, EPCs, OEMs, and system integrators.
- Identify customer needs related to asset reliability, machinery health, predictive maintenance, and digital transformation.
- Position and sell solutions such as:
- Online and portable vibration monitoring.
- Machinery protection systems.
- Condition monitoring software and analytics.
- Wireless sensing and digital reliability platforms.
- Prepare and deliver technical-commercial presentations and proposals.
- Work closely with application engineers, service teams and regional leadership.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management and CRM updates.
- Represent the company at industry events, customer meetings and technical workshops.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Industrial or related field).
- 5+ years of experience in technical B2B sales within the industrial market.
- Proven experience selling solutions related to condition monitoring, reliability, instrumentation, automation or industrial software.
- Strong understanding of rotating equipment, such as turbines, compressors, pumps, motors or generators.
- Solid experience with consultative / solution-based selling.
- Ability to engage both technical and executive-level stakeholders.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel frequently within Argentina and other SA countries.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Previous experience with Bently Nevada, Cordant, or similar reliability/condition monitoring vendors.
- Existing relationships with major industrial accounts in Argentina.
- Experience working with multinational companies and regional sales structures.
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance, digital transformation or Industry 4.0 concepts.
