About the role:
As a Senior Applications Engineer, you sit at the intersection of engineering, sales, and product development. You will shape customer solutions, influence new product development, and ensure our precision motion and robotic technologies are deployed effectively across diverse applications.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in both technical deep‑dives and customer-facing environments.
What you will do:
- Partner with Sales to understand customer needs and recommend optimised solutions.
- Translate complex customer requirements into engineering specifications.
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs.
- Mentor junior engineers and elevate technical capability across the team.
- Communicate value propositions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Provide hands-on support for pre‑ and post‑sales technical engagement.
- Work cross-functionally to shape new products and improve application performance.
What you will bring:
- BS/MS in Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 5+ years in integrated product design for robotics, mechatronics, or medical devices.
- 2+ years supporting commercial teams or customer engagement.
- Deep knowledge of mechanical/electromechanical design and prototyping.
- Advanced SolidWorks capability.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
