This role requires deep expertise in RF hardware, embedded systems, and system-level performance, with a focus on ensuring seamless interoperability across diverse technologies and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Design and Integration
    • Lead the design and integration of RF front-end modules (PAs, LNAs, filters, switches, tuners) with transceivers, baseband, and embedded control systems.
    • Define and implement system-level architectures that balance performance, efficiency, and reliability.
    • Ensure compatibility across multiple frequency bands and application requirements
  • Validation & Testing
    • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for RF system-level performance.
    • Perform lab and field validation using advanced equipment (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, OTA chambers).
    • Debug and resolve complex system-level issues related to coexistence, interference, and thermal management.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with RF design, embedded software, antenna, and hardware teams to ensure cohesive system integration.
    • Provide technical leadership in system-level design reviews and architecture discussions.
    • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in RF system integration.
  • Innovation & Optimization
  • Drive continuous improvement in integration methodologies and system validation processes.
  • Explore new approaches for adaptive RF systems, dynamic tuning, and multi-standard coexistence.
  • Contribute to IP development and technical documentation.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, RF/Microwave Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in RF system integration and validation.
  • Strong expertise in RF front-end components, transceivers, and system-level architectures.
  • Proficiency with RF simulation tools (ADS, HFSS, CST) and system validation equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with PCB design and high-frequency layout considerations.
  • Solid understanding of wireless communication standards and regulatory compliance.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with antenna integration and OTA testing.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems and firmware for RF control.
  • Knowledge of advanced packaging (SiP, MCM) and thermal management strategies.
  • Track record of patents, publications, or contributions to industry standards.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to lead system-level integration for cutting-edge RF technologies.
  • Collaborative environment with access to advanced labs and global engineering teams.
