About the role
As our Senior Retail Activation Manager – European Accounts, you’ll drive best-in-class activation for one of Dyson’s most significant strategic retail partnerships in Europe. You’ll land pioneering initiatives across markets, translating commercial plans into consumer impact on the shop floor and online. Your work will ensure Dyson’s innovation stands out—whether it’s a flagship product launch or a unique campaign moment—where it matters most.
What you’ll do:
- Co-create and deliver the seasonal and annual marketing activation plans with your retailer partner—landing Dyson’s global strategy, tailored for local success.
- Steer joint business planning sessions with retail partners, building expert-to-expert working relationships that push standards, relevance, and results.
- Coordinate execution across indirect business channels, aligning activation with wider market strategy and retailer objectives.
- Lead go-to-market planning for new product launches and marketing campaigns, from inception to execution, ensuring Dyson’s terms and premium brand experience remain front and centre—everywhere we’re seen.
- Scope the market, using data and insight to track Dyson performance, identify threats from competitors, and seek out opportunities for growth—fast.
- Collaborate seamlessly with channel, media, and category teams to deliver integrated, 360◦ activation across every touchpoint.
- Drive distribution footprint strategy with local teams—making sure our technology reaches the right stores and screens, at the right time, for the right audiences.
- Embed Dyson retail principles and selective distribution standards across markets, monitoring execution and compliance through sales CRM and reporting tools.
- Champion and role-model our obsession with detail—elevating display presence, staff engagement, and every element of the consumer path to purchase.
- Support the broader European Accounts team—lending your expertise and leadership to lift our standards everywhere we show up.
About you
- A proven track record in retail activation, trade marketing or brand management—ready to elevate a top-tier partnership at scale across multiple European markets.
- At least 6 years’ experience in senior retail, trade marketing, or marketing roles—ideally with exposure to cross-market strategy and premium brands.
- Strong grasp of what moves the modern consumer—balancing creative flare with commercial rigour to convert shopper interest into results.
- Data-driven mindset, with clear examples of using market insight to drive smart, effective actions.
- Experienced at managing external agencies and suppliers—translating plans into on-the-ground excellence.
- Calm under pressure, solutions-focused, and relentless about deadlines—you make things happen, whatever the challenge.
- Confident communicator, able to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, nationally and internationally.
- Natural team player and motivator—elevating those around you to deliver stand-out work.
- Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communications skills. Additional European language skills are a plus.
