Senior Recruiter - National Office

What is the opportunity?

As a Senior Recruiter - National Office you play a critical role by providing innovative talent acquisition strategies that are aligned to our diverse organizational objectives. You will partner with key stakeholders in National Office - Personal & Commercial Banking to source and maintain a proactive internal and external candidate pipeline as well as work closely with business partners to ensure a seamless candidate experience.

What will you do? 

• Build and maintain a viable pipeline of candidates for hard-to-fill roles through appropriate and targeted sourcing.
• Embed diversity conversations in all recruitment and sourcing activities.
• Acts as Subject Matter Expert for managers throughout the recruitment process.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment process including document and tracking all pertinent information using our applicant tracking system.
• Conduct preliminary interviews with selected candidates to further validate skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements using behavioral-based interview techniques.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with HR Partners and Hiring Managers within the business areas to provide assistance with recruiting needs, job vacancy specifications, and to make recommendations on optimum sourcing channels.
• Provide market intelligence to business regarding the recruitment market as well as build a pipeline/database of future talent based on networking and targeted research.
• Proactively seek out live market benchmark intelligence in relation to compensation. 

What will you need to succeed? 

Must Have

• University degree or college diploma.

• 5+ years' full life-cycle recruitment experience combined in a corporate and agency environment.
• Advanced sourcing, networking, and lead generation skills using job boards and social media sites.
• Excellent relationship building and strong negotiation skills with a consultative mindset.
• Results oriented with honed multi-tasking skills, including experience working with e-Recruitment tools and behavioral based interviews.
• Recruitment support in a coaching and advisory capacity to all levels of management. 

Nice to have

• Bilingual French + English (Spoken, Written, Reading)
• Recruitment experience within financial services preferably supporting financial planning and leadership roles
• Proficiency with Microsoft suite of applications
• Sourcing skills to locate candidates with difficult to find skill sets
• Experience using a LinkedIn Recruiter license
• Experience using Workday & Phenom CRM
