Significance is seeking a Senior Real Estate Program & Transaction Support Consultant provides mission-critical support to the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Headquarters Real Estate Production Support Division (RE PSD). This role supports the Department of the Navy (DON) in the planning, development, execution, and oversight of complex real estate (RE) and non-FAR transactional initiatives that enhance mission readiness, infrastructure resilience, and operational effectiveness.
The senior consultant delivers conceptual, analytical, technical, and transactional support across the full lifecycle of real estate acquisition, management, and disposition activities. This position requires the ability to operate in a dynamic environment, adjust to shifting priorities, and provide high-level advisory support to senior government leadership.
The Senior Consultant will work closely with federal and DoD clients to ensure projects meet regulatory, technical, and operational requirements, support innovative solutions, and advance infrastructure modernization goals. Responsibilities will also include analyzing existing energy and infrastructure programs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and helping clients adopt best practices in program delivery and risk management.
This position requires strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate technical and operational information into actionable recommendations for both working-level staff and senior leaders. The role is hybrid, with 1–2 days per week onsite at the Washington Navy Yard and flexibility for remote work. Occasional travel may also be required.
