Senior Qlik Sense Architect & Developer

Summary

This role combines strong hands-on development expertise with architectural leadership to deliver scalable, high-performing Qlik Sense reports.

As a Senior Qlik developer, you will design and develop Qlik Sense applications to support various business product lines. You will work closely with analysts and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective analytics solutions. This part of the role is primarily hands-on development, with opportunities to mentor junior developers.

As Qlik Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and governing a multi-node and distributed Qlik platform.

Responsibilities

• Advanced expertise in developing Qlik Sense reports (Data Model & Dashboard)
• Strong & proven experience with big volumes of data
• Proven experience in performance optimization, scalability design, and application tuning
• Hands-on experience with Qlik Sense extensions, JavaScript, SAP connectors, and Qlik APIs
• Good Understanding of general data warehousing and BI principles (Specifically Data modelling and SQL developments)
• Experience designing and supporting multi-node and distributed environments
• Deep knowledge of Qlik platform architecture, including server configuration, security, and user/document management
• Good Understanding of enterprise infrastructure and security concepts, including:
  • Windows Server environments
  • Active Directory
  • Proxy servers
  • Single Sign-On (SSO)
  • System monitoring and operational best practices
• Practical experience with Qalyptus is a plus
• Experience with Version Manager or WIP is a plus
• Experience in other reporting tools is a plus
• Working knowledge of AWS cloud services is a plus

Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years of previous experience working as a Qlik Sense Architect/Developer
• Passionate about IT and able to think out of the box
• Proactive mindset with strong ownership and accountability
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to troubleshoot complex data and performance issues
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders (English is mandatory, French or Dutch is a plus)
• Strong understanding of BI best practices and data visualization principles
• Ability to design intuitive and user-friendly dashboards
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience with an agile way of working is a plus
• Experience in telecom is a plus
