You will work at the heart of our digital evolution, partnering with delivery teams and business collaborators to shape SAP projects that improve core enterprise processes. Your leadership will translate technology investment into measurable value, from resilient operations to faster decision-making that shortens the path to patients.

This is a hands-on, outcomes-focused role where you will set the standard for governance, data-driven reporting and partner engagement. How would you steer a multi-stream SAP transformation to hit turning points and cost targets without compromising quality?

Accountabilities:

  • Project Planning and Delivery: Develop clear project approaches, detailed plans, budgets and timelines. Set well-defined deliverables and work streams that enable delivery teams to meet collaborator needs and achieve agreed outcomes.

  • SAP Program Leadership: Lead cross-functional SAP projects across finance, supply chain, manufacturing or related domains. Build momentum from day one and drive execution to agreed scope, time and cost.

  • Partner Engagement: Ensure all collaborators are engaged, informed and committed. Provide accurate progress updates, call out issues per agreed procedures, and represent the project team with credibility.

  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify, assess and intensify risks early. Apply disciplined risk management methods to enable prompt, cost-effective resolution and protect critical breakthroughs.

  • Governance and Reporting: Implement effective governance processes and steerco routines. Produce timely, accurate reports on status, risks, costs and decisions to support fast, transparent delivery.

  • Financial Control: Monitor costs, timescales and resource usage versus agreed tolerances. Act decisively when deviations occur and keep partners aligned on financial performance.

  • Quality Assurance: Translate partner quality expectations into realistic plans. Ensure teams understand and deliver to these expectations, and verify outcomes against agreed criteria.

  • Team Performance and Coaching: Track team performance, remove obstacles and create the conditions for high-quality execution. Influence at senior levels to sustain commitment and pace.

  • Closure and Continuous Improvement: Close projects formally and lead lessons-learned reviews. Capture insights and feed them to relevant forums to improve future delivery.

  • Data-Driven PMO Support: Chip in to portfolio-level visibility with structured reporting, dashboards and financial tracking that enable smarter decision-making and scalable operations.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Ability to clearly demonstrate the advantages of a proposed approach or solution to client and collaborators

  • Possess influencing skills and personal presence to successfully represent at the highest level- externally and internally, formally, and informally, inspiring confidence and respect for both the functions represented and as an individual and you can build long-term relationships with colleagues and clients

  • Ensure effective collaborator management by actively representing the project team to relevant collaborators, ensuring that relationships are built and maintained inside the organization and by ensuring that effective and agreed project governance processes are implemented

  • Ensure all customers are engaged and remain committed to assigned projects and have complete and continuing awareness of the project plan, key achievements, progress to date and plans to completion, providing regular and accurate reports on progress, issues and plans to relevant collaborators and bringing up any issues to AZ management as per agreed Customer concern Procedures

  • Identify, assess, and bring up risks to the success of the project, raising awareness of risks in a timely manner to ensure cost-effective and prompt resolution of issues in strict adherence to agreed Risk Management methods

  • Monitor costs, timescales, resources used and the performance of team members, acting where these deviate from agreed levels and tolerances and ensuring that stakeholders are provided with status reports as agreed

  • Record and deliver stakeholder’s quality expectations of the project and the constituent deliverables, ensuring that realistic project and quality plans are prepared and maintained; stakeholders and team members all understand, are committed to and deliver to those expectations

  • Ensure that projects are formally closed and that end of project and lessons learned reviews are completed to ensure that lessons learned are captured and passed to the relevant forum for action

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Additional PMO responsibility to monitor costs/budgets for larger projects/programmes including ability to prepare reporting, monitoring, and assisting governance & steerco meetings

  • Strong skills formulating spreadsheets, ability to create detailed charts and acumen to present right and adequate data for all project deliveries based on the leadership needs

  • Working experience in project management office tools that helps maintain cost spends, project/program/portfolio statuses and other related activities

  • Assist in operational excellence related activities and various tower level representations related to combined project deliveries and team performance.
