Job Responsibilities
* **Project Leadership & Execution:** Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle for large-scale, strategic initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This includes defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and resource requirements.
* **Stakeholder Management:** Proactively identify, engage, and manage expectations of all project stakeholders, including senior leadership, clients, vendors, and internal teams. Facilitate effective communication and issue resolution.
* **Team Management & Development:** Lead, mentor, and motivate cross-functional project teams. Foster a collaborative environment, assign tasks, track performance, and provide guidance to ensure team success.
* **Risk & Issue Management:** Develop and implement comprehensive risk management plans, identify potential project risks and issues, and devise mitigation strategies. Proactively address and resolve project roadblocks.
* **Budget & Resource Management:** Develop detailed project budgets, track expenditures, and manage resource allocation effectively. Ensure optimal utilization of resources throughout the project lifecycle.
* **Quality Assurance & Compliance:** Establish and enforce project quality standards, ensuring deliverables meet Hitachi's high quality benchmarks and comply with relevant industry regulations and internal policies.
* **Reporting & Communication:** Prepare and present regular project status reports, progress updates, and financial summaries to stakeholders and senior management. Maintain clear and concise project documentation.
* **Process Improvement:** Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement within project management methodologies and contribute to the evolution of Hitachi's project delivery frameworks.

Job Qualifications
* **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
* **Experience:** Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a senior project management role leading complex, multi-functional projects in a large enterprise environment.
* **Certifications:** Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required. Other relevant certifications (e.g., Agile, Scrum Master, Prince2) are a significant plus.
* **Technical Skills:** Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid). Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana) and collaboration tools.
* **Leadership & Communication:** Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels.
* **Problem-Solving:** Proven ability to analyze complex problems, develop practical solutions, and make sound decisions under pressure.
* **Business Acumen:** Strong business acumen with the ability to understand business needs and translate them into project requirements and deliverables.
* **Industry Knowledge:** Experience working in relevant industries (e.g., IT, Manufacturing, Energy, Healthcare) is highly desirable, depending on the specific division.
* **Global Experience:** Experience working with global teams and stakeholders across different time zones and cultures is a strong advantage.
