Job Description

Senior Project Manager – Project Management (PDS)

Location: London (Hybrid)
Business: Cushman & Wakefield – Project & Development Services (PDS)
Team: UK Project Management – London & South East

The opportunity

Cushman & Wakefield’s Project Management team is growing in London. We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to deliver office, mixed-use and complex refurbishment projects for a range of investor and occupier clients.

This is a role for an end-to-end “all-rounder” – someone who enjoys being close to the detail, can lead projects from brief to handover, and is comfortable with procurement, contract administration (JCT) and stakeholder management in fast-paced environments.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll take ownership of multiple commissions, typically running concurrently, with responsibility for:

  • Leading projects through the full lifecycle: brief, feasibility, design, procurement, construction and close-out

  • Acting as the day-to-day client lead, building trusted relationships and providing clear commercial and programme advice

  • Managing consultant and contractor teams: appointments, scopes, deliverables, governance and reporting

  • Developing and controlling programmes, budgets, risk registers and project controls

  • Running procurement routes and tender processes (incl. RFPs / ITTs, bid evaluation, recommendations)

  • Delivering contract administration (predominantly JCT), including change control, valuations, instructions and progress certification (as applicable to the commission)

  • Managing stakeholder groups across client, landlord, occupier, design teams and supply chain

  • Supporting fee proposals, business development and cross-selling across the PDS platform

  • Driving quality, H&S and compliance aligned to C&W governance and client standards

Typical projects

Depending on the account and pipeline, projects may include:

  • Commercial office refurbishments and fit outs (Cat A / Cat B)

  • Investor repositioning / refurb programmes

  • Heritage-sensitive refurbishments and complex stakeholder environments

  • Multi-site programmes for occupier clients (UK and EMEA-facing where relevant)

What we’re looking for

Essential:

  • Demonstrable experience delivering commercial / office projects within a consultancy environment

  • Strong capability across cost, programme, risk and procurement

  • Working knowledge of JCT contracts and contract administration fundamentals

  • Confident stakeholder management and clear written / verbal communication

  • Proven ability to run multiple projects simultaneously and maintain high-quality reporting and controls

Desirable:

  • MRICS (or working toward) and/or MCIOB

  • Experience across both investor and occupier projects

  • Familiarity with governance-heavy client environments and multi-disciplinary teams

Why Cushman & Wakefield

You’ll join a well-established Project Management team within a global real estate consultancy, working on high-profile client instructions with access to market-leading specialists across building surveying, cost consultancy, ESG, and wider PDS services. We offer structured career development, flexible working, and the chance to progress within a growing platform.
