About the Role:
Surbana Jurong Group, through SMEC, is seeking a Senior Project Control Engineer to support planning, scheduling, and project controls for major infrastructure, ports, and marine construction supervision projects. The role works closely with the Resident Engineer, Project Manager, and client teams to ensure effective programme control, progress monitoring, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and maintain detailed project schedules and baselines
• Monitor construction progress, critical paths, and key milestones
• Analyse schedule risks, delays, and impacts, including variations and claims support
• Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and programme updates for stakeholders
• Coordinate with site supervision, contractors, and client teams on programme matters
• Support recovery planning, mitigation measures, and look-ahead schedules
• Ensure alignment with contract requirements and reporting standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent
• Typically 12–15 years of experience in project controls or planning roles
• Experience in infrastructure, ports, marine, utilities, or major civil projects
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and scheduling best practices
• Experience working in consultant-led or PMC construction supervision environments
• Familiarity with FIDIC-based contracts is preferred
