The Senior Program Manager, Global Workforce Development will join the Workforce Development Team, and this person will report to the Director of Global Workforce Development.

Overview:
The Workforce Development team is seeking a Global Workforce Development Program Manager based in London or Dublin to join our team and play a key role in ensuring we are delivering the highest quality of talent programs. This person will develop frameworks, structures and content for various talent programs. They will also run the programs, and in close collaboration with the broader Global Workforce Development and FutureForce teams, recruit and enable employee volunteers to deliver parts of the programming. This individual must possess a passion for developing and creating career opportunities for untapped talent, have experience working with emerging talent from untapped backgrounds and experience building strong relationships with internal and external partners.

Job Duties:

  • Research landscape, frameworks and best practices for workforce development programs such as apprenticeships and internships across the globe.

  • Research, identify and establish relationships with workforce development organisations to identify candidates, design programs and track impact.

  • Manage program operations and logistics, including but not limited to coordinating events, designing program content, managing candidates and maintaining internal tracking systems.

  • Manage relationships with host managers and teams to ensure candidates are well supported.

  • Facilitate outreach, events, & recruitment operations to source and secure candidates.

  • Develop curricula for talent programs; collaborate with external partners and business unit stakeholders to source and build engaging content aligned with program goals.

  • Deliver and facilitate activations and events (in person and/or virtually); moderate workshops and training of untapped talent and host managers/mentors

  • Create marketing and communications resources to promote the programs internally and externally.

  • Collaborate with leadership to manage governance and compliance related to programs in different regions, for example having a strong understanding of the UK Apprenticeship Levy (or local equivalents).

Maintain and update internal systems to track and manage program
Additional Responsibilities

  • Build slide decks and other promotional materials for Workforce Development programs.

  • Provide general operational support (data collection, logistics, etc.) for global apprenticeship and internship programs.



The preferred candidate will

  • Proven experience working with emerging talent, particularly from under-served or underrepresented communities such as individuals from low socio-economic backgrounds or people with disabilities.

  • Be able to relate to and work effectively with diverse populations (e.g. candidates, senior executives, non profit partners etc.).

  • Have experience with talent development and work-based-learning initiatives such as managing apprentice or intern programs.

  • Have experience in leading program operations and logistics; have desire to straddle both programmatic and operational responsibilities; strong ability to multi-task.

  • Have experience running virtual experiences, strong facilitation skills and emerging talent and run events in person and online.

  • Have strong project management skills.

  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills; strong presence and leadership with public speaking and facilitation.

  • Have excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Be a self starter and balance working with teams.

  • Ability to work within a global landscape with local understanding.
