Your focus is on carrying out plans, turning strategy into reality and converting innovative ideas into high quality, measurable outcomes quickly.

Why Join Us?

We’re investing billions in our people, places and tech to change the way we meet the needs of our 28 million customers. We’re growing, and we’d love you to be part of the journey!

What We’re Seeking

We want a candidate who understands market forces and competitor movements. Someone who approaches challenges with creativity and commercial awareness to produce excellent customer experiences and business success. They must also be curious about new technologies that help develop a more competitive, future-ready solution.

To Excel in This Role, Candidates Should:

  • Continuously analyse competitors, industry trends worldwide, and translate competitor insights into actionable strategies that improve market share

  • Build visually and emotionally engaging journey experiences that attract and retain customers

  • Use data and insights to identify friction points and optimise conversion rates

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure consistency and efficiency

  • Drive product adoption and revenue growth through optimized journey development

  • Have excellent communication, leadership and collaborator management skills.

Your Key Accountabilities Will Include:

  • Delivering value by maintaining clarity on team objectives and communicating them effectively to collaborators.

  • Crafting the product as a service, ensuring solutions meet customer needs without introducing unnecessary complexity.

  • Owning delivery against objectives and key results (OKR’s).

  • Coordinating with other Product Owners to ensure dependencies are visible, managed and appropriately prioritised across backlogs.

  • Prioritising with rigor, balancing technical releases, central initiatives and regulatory commitments alongside customer and partner needs.

  • Embedding strong nonfunctional standards, including robustness, performance, scalability, usability, maintainability and ease of integration.

  • Cultivating a test and learn culture, encouraging the team to prototype, build MVPs and validate early in model office environments.

What We’ll Need From You:

We’re seeking an individual who has experience in:

  • CX and UI/UX development, and digital transformation – leading discovery through to live and translating insights into tangible customer experience improvements.

  • Delivering at scale in an Agile environment – operating across multiple workstreams, crafting and prioritising backlogs and maintaining pace while managing dependencies.

  • Leading teams in adopting new technology – taking teams through change e.g., piloting new tools/approaches, defining guardrails and embedding new practices into BAU or equivalent experience.

  • Collaborating effectively with technical and cross functional teams including engineering, building, operations, risk/compliance, and commercial.

  • Handling budgets and resources tightly, delivering within cost constraints.

  • Influencing across a wide collaborator group – communicating confidently, aligning priorities across teams, and securing timely decisions through outcome-focused storytelling.

  • Owning dependencies and proactively resolving risks and issues – identifying and managing cross-team dependencies, raising concerns early, and proactively driving mitigations to protect outcomes and timelines.

This is a place for you:

  • Our ambition is to be the leading UK business for diversity, equity and inclusion supporting our customers, colleagues and communities, and we’re committed to creating an environment in which everyone can thrive, learn and develop.

  • We were one of the first major organisations to set goals on diversity in senior roles, create a menopause health package, and a dedicated Working with Cancer Initiative.

  • We provide reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process to reduce or remove barriers. Just let us know what you need.
