Senior Product Marketing Manager

As Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will own the overall brand strategy, proposition and positioning of Avast’s Suite and Security portfolio. Passionate about the customer, you will harness consumerinsight and market intelligence to ensure our product team can prioritize the right areas to delight our users and deliver against commercial objectives. Helping to bridge product and sales / marketing teams, you will bring the voice of the customer to product development, build clear and powerful product messaging, and drive Go-To-Market (GTM) for significant product launches. 

Fact-based, you will naturally drive projects in a strategic manner, with a clear vision that aligns with our business goals. You will pair this with a creative, growth-oriented mindset, as you help teams understand our products and inspire marketing that captures new opportunities. The successful candidate will be instinctively a team player, will understand the importance of communication and possessoutstanding communication skills of your own. 

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Work on a global portfolio of market-leading cyber safety products for the Avast brand. 

  • Document and understand the competitive landscape, including feature sets, user experience and pricing. 

  • Maintain and communicate competitive intelligence and market trends relevant to the brand and category. 

  • Partner with Consumer Insights to understand customer needs, buyer personas and future trendsdeveloping actionable insights and a shared understanding of customer needs. 

  • Link product strategy to business outcomes, recommending future product portfolio direction, including feature and proposition development that fits with our brand value proposition. 

  • Own the product value propositions and product/feature naming for our Suite and Security product lines, crafting clear and compelling product messaging that is targeted for the brand target segment(s). 

  • Communicate and brief sales & marketing teams on the future product roadmap. 

  • Define product launch GTM elements and drive execution, partnering with acquisition, retention, brand, campaign and PR teams on an integrated marketing approach. 

  • Drives product marketing asset creation and supports campaign creative brief and wider asset creation. Partners with Program Management to ensure on time GTM cross-functional readiness and execution. 

 

Keys to Success in This Role

  • 10years’ experience in Product Marketing within a global, technology-driven organization, ideally in consumer SaaS or software. 

  • Demonstrated ability to link product marketing to business outcomes (growth, revenue, market share) and to shape the product portfolio and GTM strategy. 

  • Natural ability to translate technological innovation into communicable benefits that deliver value to our customers. 

  • Strategic thinker who loves to think both analytically and creatively, but who can also roll up their sleeves and get things done  

  • Passionate communicator with outstanding interpersonal, presentation and writing skills, able to persuade, influence and evangelize the product internally and externally, and communicate clearly up and down the organization. 

  • Willingness to continually learn, adapt to and deploy new technologies and tools to improve our effectiveness. 

  • An outstanding attention to detail. 

  • Team player with a sense of humor. 

  • Global perspective with an interest in technology, product development, marketing and cyber safety.
