As a Senior Product Manager of Content Systems and Platforms, you will be responsible for the content platforms, pipelines, and capabilities that enable Yahoo Finance to distribute relevant content to millions of investors globally. This role will define and evolve our content systems that power how Yahoo Finance content is ingested, enriched, structured, and delivered across the product, including large scale syndication of content.
The ideal candidate has experience owning content platforms and pairs strong systems thinking with a user-first orientation. They are motivated by building scalable content products that drive durable value for users and measurable impact for the business.
What You'll Do
Platform Ownership: Own the end-to-end roadmap and execution for Yahoo Finance’s content systems, including tickerization and personalization. Define platform and feature enhancements that expand editorial capabilities and content reach, including AI-powered enrichment.
Technical Product Leadership: Translate complex business and editorial needs into clear technical requirements with a perspective on prioritization and sequencing. Partner closely with engineering on technical discovery and feasibility.
Editorial and Platform Enablement: Improve Finance-specific workflows within central platforms, ensuring editorial and product teams can operate with speed and accuracy.
Cross-Functional Influence: Drive alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders, navigating dependencies and tradeoffs.
Data-Driven Execution: Define success metrics and use qualitative and quantitative insights to guide prioritization, iteration, and long-term platform strategy.
What You'll Bring
Location: Dublin - hybrid role (two days in office)
Experience: 5+ years of product management experience, ideally owning technically complex platforms or infrastructure products at scale.
Technical Fluency: Strong ability to work with engineering partners on backend systems, APIs, data pipelines, and architecture; experience with content systems, metadata, recommendations, or ML-adjacent products is a plus.
Product Leadership: Proven track record leading ambiguous problem spaces end to end, from strategy through delivery and iteration.
Cross-Functional Influence: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience driving alignment across teams.
User & Business Mindset: User-first orientation with the ability to connect platform investments to business outcomes.
