The Team:
The Counterparty Manager product team is a dynamic, globally distributed group dedicated to delivering high-impact solutions across the client lifecycle. We value deep domain expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and a proactive approach to evolving our product portfolio in response to market and regulatory demands, ensuring commercial success and strategic alignment.
Responsibilities and Impact:
Define and lead the global product vision and roadmap for the Counterparty Manager product suite, ensuring alignment with firm strategy, commercial priorities, and client lifecycle needs.
Drive end-to-end product delivery, overseeing discovery, requirements definition, launch, implementation support, and ongoing optimization for complex, enterprise-grade solutions.
Lead, mentor, and develop a globally distributed team of product managers, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance, focusing on strategic thinking and execution rigor.
Act as a senior product and domain authority, influencing internal and external stakeholders to ensure strong alignment and effective decision-making across Product, Commercial, Technology, Operations, Risk, and Compliance.
Champion a customer-centric approach, leveraging quantitative and qualitative insights to inform product decisions, identify performance gaps, and guide prioritization for optimal client experience.
Proactively identify and evaluate opportunities for innovation, integrating AI, automation, and data-driven capabilities while monitoring market trends and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing product relevance and differentiation.
All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 10+ years of experience in capital markets or financial services, with significant hands-on expertise in client onboarding, KYC, and regulatory processes.
An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 8+ years of experience in product management or product leadership roles, including ownership of complex, enterprise-grade products.
Proven experience leading global, cross-functional teams and supporting large-scale, multi-client implementations.
Strong understanding of financial technologies and regulated operating environments, coupled with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presence.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to take an enterprise perspective, connecting operational activities to the wider organizational vision and strategy.
Proven capability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across functions and geographies, leveraging networks for strategic alignment and buy-in.
A history of bringing new thinking and curiosity to develop innovative, data-driven solutions with a long-term perspective in mind.
A commitment to coaching and empowering team members, fostering an environment where individuals can maximize their performance.
