Position Overview and Objective : Senior Product Manager – Extended Threat Intelligence

Role Overview

The Senior Product Manager for Extended Threat Intelligence will lead the AI Proactive Defense strategy, development, and delivery of an AI-driven security operations platform that proactively detects, prevents, and responds to cyber threats. This role defines the product vision, builds advanced AI and automation capabilities, and partners closely with SOC, threat research, detection engineering, and AI/ML teams to drive autonomous, outcome-driven cyber defense. This solution will continuously ingest, correlate, and operationalize threat intelligence across customer security ecosystems (SIEM, SOAR, EDR/MDR/XDR, cloud, identity, and network tools) to enable automated detection, hunting, and response.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

- Define and own the multi-year vision and roadmap for an AI-powered Proactive Defense platform.

- Translate SecOps, AI/ML, and threat intelligence trends into differentiated product capabilities.

- Establish product KPIs focused on MTTD/MTTR reduction, automation rate, detection fidelity, and SOC efficiency.

AI, Automation & Detection Innovation

- Lead development of AI agents, LLM-powered automation, and predictive detection capabilities.

- Drive automated detection rule generation (e.g., KQL, SPL, Sigma) based on threat research insights.

- Ensure explainability, guardrails, confidence scoring, and human‑in‑the‑loop controls.

Threat Intelligence & Proactive Defense

- Build multi-source intelligence ingestion and normalization pipelines.

- Integrate threat research into automated detection workflows.

- Drive autonomous threat hunting and intelligent incident response orchestration.

Cross-Functional Leadership

- Partner with SOC, detection engineering, threat research, IR, and AI/ML engineering.

- Lead complex multi-quarter delivery initiatives.

- Mentor junior PMs and guide product lines.

Execution & Delivery

- Write PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and manage backlogs.

- Lead release planning and ensure GTM readiness.

- Validate product direction via customer discovery and field engagement.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years Product Management experience in cybersecurity.

- Deep understanding of SOC operations, detection engineering, threat intelligence, and IR workflows.

- Experience building AI/ML, automation, or generative AI cybersecurity products.

- Strong analytical skills and KPI-driven mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience as SOC analyst, threat hunter, or detection engineer.

- Familiarity with LLMs, NLP, and autonomous agents.

- CISSP, GCTI, GNFA, GCFA or similar certifications.
