Senior Product Manager - AI Engineering

Showcasing excellence and innovation at every stage, Product Management is responsible for the cross-functional management of products or solutions through their entire lifecycle. Using a wealth of technical and industry experience, we work across functional areas to implement our products or solutions. We undertake thorough analysis of the markets to ensure we maximize profitability and adjust our product strategies to respond to competition. Our role also involves acting as subject matter experts for internal and external product events or partner meetings.

What you’ll achieve  

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for delivering new AI applications, discovering emerging user needs, or building product-quality proof-of-concepts in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Dojo Product Managers work on a variety of initiatives – on any given day, you might find yourself interviewing users, designing a new feature or application for our internal stakeholders, defining cutting-edge research, or managing a backlog and reviewing stories with engineers. As a part of the Dell Technologies Office of the CTO, we innovate on the future of technology in a high visibility, collaborative team. You will work with other product managers, leadership, engineers and data scientists, tech leads, strategy, and/or stakeholders to execute technology development using an agile, fast-fail mentality. This position requires someone who thrives in a highly ambiguous environment and loves to learn quickly. 

  

You will:  

  • Work closely with small, cross-functional teams of researchers and developers, as well as with leadership, to lead the delivery of initiatives  

  • Define and deliver full stack AI applications and capabilities 

  • Work with users and stakeholders to understand their needs 

  • Develop and maintain a backlog of stories and areas of exploration; prioritize work 

  • Highlight ongoing status, goals, and plans to executives  

  

Essential Requirements  

  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, energetic and passionate about technology and leading projects 

  • Experience interfacing with customers and stakeholders to understand pain points and drive technical requirements 

  • Ability and open mindedness to quickly learn about new development methodologies and cutting-edge technologies such as generative AI, agentic AI, data ingestion, and Dev/MLOps 

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills  

  • Experience working across and leading cross-functional teams to deliver software 

  

Desirable Requirements  

  • A bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in product management, business, software development, applied research, or a similar area; a master’s degree with 6+ years of experience; or equivalent experience    

  • Experience defining and delivering AI applications 

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.  The base salary range for this position: $152,150 to $196,900
