Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for our Agentic Commerce Platform and Developer Experience. This role owns the foundational capabilities that enable AI driven, agent initiated commerce—while also delivering a best in class developer portal, APIs, and self service tooling that allow partners, ISVs, and internal teams to build, integrate, and scale with confidence.

You will operate at the intersection of AI enabled commerce, payments and checkout orchestration, and developer platforms, shaping how intelligent agents securely discover, authorize, and execute transactions—and how developers onboard, test, integrate, and launch those capabilities.
This is a highly cross functional, platform oriented role requiring close partnership with Engineering, AI/ML, Design, Payments, Risk/Fraud, and Partner teams.

What You’ll Do
Product Strategy & Vision
• Define and own the long term product vision for the Agentic Commerce Platform, including agent initiated checkout, authorization, governance, and transaction orchestration.
• Establish a cohesive strategy for Developer Experience, spanning developer portal, APIs, documentation, onboarding, sandbox environments, credentials, and self service workflows.
• Translate emerging agentic commerce standards and ecosystem trends into clear product direction and platform capabilities.
Platform & Developer Experience Ownership
• Own the end to end product lifecycle for developer facing surfaces, including:
o Developer portal UX and information architecture
o API design and lifecycle management
o SDKs, onboarding guides, and integration tooling
o Sandbox, testing, and self service credential management
• Ensure the platform enables safe, scalable, and auditable agent initiated commerce for merchants and partners.
Roadmap & Execution
• Build and maintain a prioritized roadmap balancing near term delivery with long term platform investments.
• Write clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for platform and developer experience features.
• Partner with engineering teams to deliver high quality, well instrumented platform capabilities.
Cross Functional Leadership
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, AI/ML, Design, Payments, Risk/Fraud, Legal, and Partner teams to align on architecture, controls, and delivery.
• Act as the product voice for developers and partners, incorporating feedback and usage data into continuous improvement.
• Support go to market, enablement, and partner adoption efforts for agentic commerce capabilities.
Measurement & Outcomes
• Define and track success metrics across developer adoption, integration velocity, self service usage, and platform reliability.
• Use data and qualitative feedback to guide prioritization and product iteration.
  • What We’re Looking For

    • 7+ years of product management experience, with ownership of platform, API, or developer facing products.
    • Proven experience delivering developer portals, APIs, SDKs, or integration platforms.
    • Strong ability to operate in ambiguous, 0→1 or emerging technology spaces.
    • Experience working closely with engineering teams on technically complex systems.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Demonstrated history of leading complex, cross functional initiatives involving Engineering, Design, AI/ML, Payments, Risk/Fraud, Legal, Operations, and Go to Market partners.
    • Proven ability to drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups, balancing competing priorities while maintaining momentum and shared ownership of outcomes.
    • Experience acting as a trusted product leader and connector, translating business strategy into clear product direction that engineering and partner teams can execute against.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience in payments, commerce, fintech, or marketplace platforms.
    • Familiarity with AI driven or agent based systems, including orchestration, authorization, or governance concepts.
    • Background in ISV ecosystems, partner integrations, or platform enablement.
    • Comfort balancing product strategy with hands on execution.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $126,820.00 - $149,200.00
