Senior Product Line Manager – Commercial, Components & Space

In this role, you will lead the Commercial, Components & Space product line within Teledyne RF & Microwave, a provider of advanced radio frequency (RF) and microwave solutions for demanding aerospace, defense, commercial, and space applications. You will shape long‑term strategy, guide investments, and drive financial performance across a portfolio that supports mission‑critical systems. Working with engineering, operations, program management, business development, and executive leadership, you ensure the product line delivers on growth, margin, and customer satisfaction goals.

What you’ll do

  • Own the long‑term strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities for the Commercial, Components & Space portfolio.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitors to inform product direction and feature prioritization.
  • Develop business cases, pricing strategies, and financial forecasts to support growth and profitability.
  • Lead new product development from concept through launch, ensuring cross‑functional alignment and execution.
  • Define clear product requirements, success metrics, and technical priorities for engineering teams.
  • Manage lifecycle decisions, including cost reduction, optimization, and end‑of‑life planning.
  • Engage directly with customers to represent the voice of the customer in product decisions and proposals.
  • Partner with sales and marketing to build value propositions, collateral, and go‑to‑market plans.
  • Mentor junior product managers and help build product management capability across the organization.

What you need

  • Ability to set product strategy, influence stakeholders, and make data‑driven decisions – required
  • Strong financial and business skills (forecasting, pricing, margin analysis) – required
  • Experience leading complex, cross‑functional product initiatives in a technical or manufacturing setting – required
  • Background in product management or portfolio ownership for technical products – required
  • Experience with radio frequency, microwave, or electronic components – preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, including presenting to customers and leadership – required
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline – required
  • Master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field – preferred

Salary Range:

$141,900.00-$189,200.000
