Senior Product Designer

The Role 

We're looking for a Senior Mobile Designer to lead the design of our iOS and Android experiences for both wealth advisors and their clients. You'll own mobile design end-to-end, translating complex financial workflows into intuitive mobile interfaces while helping bridge the gap between our web and mobile experiences.

This is a unique opportunity to shape mobile strategy at a critical growth moment. You'll work at the intersection of craft and strategy—understanding platform-specific design patterns while thinking about how our design system can scale responsively across all platforms.

Your Impact 

• Own end-to-end mobile design for client-facing and advisor-facing applications across iOS and Android
• Translate complex financial data and workflows into clear, intuitive mobile experiences optimized for on-the-go usage
• Bridge web and mobile by partnering with our Design System Specialist to create responsive, platform-agnostic components
• Design with a deep understanding of platform-specific patterns—iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Android Material Design
• Create high-fidelity prototypes and detailed specs that enable pixel-perfect implementation
• Partner closely with mobile engineers to ensure design quality and smooth handoffs
• Validate designs through user testing and iterate based on real feedback and analytics
• Elevate mobile design quality through thoughtful critique and advocacy for user needs
• Establish mobile design best practices and documentation for team-wide consistency

The Ideal Match 

• 5+ years of product design experience with significant focus on mobile (iOS and Android)
• Expert Figma skills with a strong understanding of components, variants, auto-layout, and mobile prototyping
• Deep knowledge of iOS and Android design systems, including nuanced platform differences
• Experience designing responsive experiences or design systems that scale across platforms
• Portfolio showcasing complex mobile work, ideally including data-heavy or financial applications
• Proven ability to design for varying user types and usage patterns (from casual to power users)
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to partner effectively across product, engineering, and research
• Thrives in fast-paced startup environments with agile workflows and rapid iteration
• Understanding of mobile-specific constraints, including touch targets, gestures, and performance

Bonus Points 

• Fintech or wealth management experience, particularly with advisor tools or client financial platforms
• Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design for mobile
• Familiarity with mobile development (React Native, Swift, Kotlin) to enhance engineering collaboration
• Experience with mobile user research and usability testing methodologies
• Background in mentoring designers or leading mobile design initiatives
• Interest in AI tools and emerging technologies for accelerating design workflows
