In this regional role for Indirect Procurement in Latin America, key responsibilities will include:
Supporting Global Category Managers in the development of formalized Category Strategies, category management methods, and collaborating with procurement and business stakeholders on a regional basis to ensure these are implemented effectively
Lead and execute agreements through formal RFx methodologies
Establish positive relationships across the business units to ensure active and early participation in supplier related matters
Lead negotiations in both financial and business matters, including commercial terms and risk mitigation for regional contracts
Collaborates with business stakeholders to understand requirements, budgets and current gaps and challenges to develop best strategic sourcing strategies
Using detailed analysis and understanding of the region category to deliver value in cost, cash, quality and delivery
Structure commercial negotiations, agreements, SLAs and total cost of ownership in ways that optimize expenditures, operating expenses, cash flow, and risks
Defining governance around best practices and purchasing policies
Achieving targets for cost reductions and cash flow
Developing strong relationships with senior leadership and suppliers
Providing subject matter expertise on complex purchasing, technical, legal and contractual issues
Performing supplier relationship and risk management reviews
Responsible for reporting and forecasting category spend and savings

At least 5 years of relevant experience in Procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement or similar
Fluent in Spanish and English is required. Portuguese is highly desirable.
Preferred Requirements:
Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement or equivalent
Professional certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM, CIRM, CPIM, MCIPS) is a plus
Contract negotiations without much legal guidance
