Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Platform Analyst individual contributor responsible for driving cross-platform business systems analysis across multiple enterprise domains. This role is designed for an experienced analyst with a strong consulting background who excels at navigating complex organizations, facilitating alignment across stakeholders, and translating business processes into clear, actionable requirements for future engineering work.
The Senior Platform Analyst operates across a federated platform environment, partnering with technical leadership across enterprise functions. The primary objective is to gather, synthesize, and document platform requirements and solution designs that enable scalable, well-informed engineering delivery.
This position is ideal for a senior analyst who leads through influence, structured thinking, and strong interpersonal skills, and who is comfortable working across ambiguity, competing priorities, and diverse stakeholder perspectives.
Key Responsibilities
Cross-Platform Business Systems Analysis
• Lead end-to-end analysis of business processes spanning multiple platforms and enterprise domains.
• Apply consulting methodologies to map current-state and target-state processes, identifying gaps, dependencies, and opportunities for standardization.
• Synthesize inputs from engineering, architecture, product, and business stakeholders into a cohesive understanding of platform needs.
• Ensure analysis considers organizational, data, and platform impacts across the broader ecosystem.
Requirements Definition & Documentation
• Elicit, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements for future platform and engineering work.
• Produce high-quality requirements artifacts that are clear, structured, and consumable by architecture and engineering teams.
• Develop high-level solution design documentation that articulates intent, scope, constraints, and assumptions without prescribing detailed implementation.
• Maintain traceability between business objectives, requirements, and proposed platform capabilities.
Stakeholder Engagement & Facilitation
• Act as a trusted analytical partner to technical leaders across platform teams and enterprise domains.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions to drive shared understanding and surface implicit requirements.
• Navigate differing priorities and viewpoints with professionalism and empathy, building alignment without formal authority.
• Translate complex business and platform concepts into clear narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
All About You
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years’ experience in business systems analysis, technical consulting, or equivalent analytical roles in complex organizations.
• Proven ability to operate as a senior individual contributor influencing outcomes across multiple teams and platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to produce clear, structured documentation.
• Exceptional interpersonal and facilitation skills, with comfort engaging senior technical and business leaders.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, federated environments without direct authority.
• Comfort leveraging analytical tools (e.g., SQL or similar) to support analysis, without being a core engineering contributor.
