Do work that matters

As a Senior Manager of Performance, you will act as a trusted partner and advisor to your EGM, and Crew and Technology General Managers. You will work with business delivery teams (Crews) to provide effective delivery oversight, manage governance rhythms and cadences, work with senior leadership to define and manage objectives and key results (OKRs), provide business insight and strategic advice, and partner with RBS Executives, Finance and other key stakeholder groups.

You will be part of the Retail Bank’s Performance Chapter and Domain Leadership Team. The Performance Chapter is responsible for ensuring that the CBA Retail Bank has the strategy, portfolio, and processes in place to deliver the Group’s vision and enable RBS’s ambitions.

More specifically you will,

  • Facilitate the development and management of a comprehensive workforce strategy for the Domain and/or crew, ensuring alignment to business and financial targets, while proactively identifying interventions to stay within workforce tolerances.

  • Establish, monitor, and enhance the Domain’s operating rhythm, cadences, and tools to optimise the flow of work, escalations and decision making.

  • Support tracking and reporting of agility and performance metrics; and work closely with the Agility practice (coaches) to identify opportunities to improve execution, velocity, and business value for the domain.

  • Facilitate Domain governance forums and surface insights on Domain and Crew adherence to the Single Delivery Pathway (CBA’s Delivery Framework) to enable appropriate action by accountable teams.

  • Analyse and interpret complex data and provide meaningful insights and recommendations to drive business decisions.

  • Lead the development of chapter practices, centralised operational procedures and tools, and support driving consistency and standardisation across all domains.

  • Effectively develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders including your EGM, Crew Leadership, Retail Product and Channel distribution leaders, Finance, Technology, Compliance and Risk

  • Manage ambiguity, complexity, and change, solve problems, and operate with an enterprise mindset

  • Act as a conduit across teams to facilitate information flow to ensure commitments can be delivered; and risks, issues and dependencies are managed and escalated as required.

  • Ensure Domain adoption of the Group's group delivery framework, technology, and methodologies.
