Job Description

Role Purpose

The Deputy Manager / Manager – Event Security & Crisis Management is responsible for safeguarding people, assets, intellectual property, and operations through structured security governance, event protection, and crisis preparedness. The role ensures effective risk mitigation, emergency response, and business continuity across manufacturing and R&D environments in alignment with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Accountabilities

Event Security Management

Plan and deliver security coverage for confidential tests, prototype activities, leadership visits, supplier engagements, and special events.
Implement access control, movement management, and perimeter security for sensitive and high‑risk zones.
Conduct risk assessments and coordinate mitigation plans with internal stakeholders.
Crisis & Emergency Management

Lead site‑level response to security incidents, fires, industrial accidents, medical emergencies, and natural disasters.
Develop, maintain, and test Crisis Management Plans (CMP), Emergency Response Plans (ERP), and Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
Issue timely alerts, advisories, and situation updates to relevant stakeholders.
 

Risk, Compliance & Governance

Perform threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments across manufacturing, R&D, testing, and storage areas.
Ensure compliance with corporate security policies, ISO standards, and statutory regulations.
Investigate incidents, drive corrective actions, and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
Stakeholder & External Coordination

Liaise with government authorities, law enforcement, fire services, emergency responders, and security service providers.
Collaborate with HR, EHS, Operations, Engineering, and Leadership teams to embed security into business processes.
Systems & Technology

Monitor and manage security operations systems, surveillance platforms, and incident reporting tools.
Support continuous improvement and adoption of security technologies and best practices

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in security management, Risk Management, Industrial Safety, or a related field.
03–05 years of experience in physical security, crisis management, or emergency response within manufacturing or industrial environments.
Exposure to IP protection, prototype security, or R&D operations is an advantage.
