What is the Opportunity?

The Senior Officer, Office Management, Business Enablement supports Jersey office priorities related to employee engagement, communications and marketing. The Senior Officer will play a vital role in supporting the marketing initiatives and employee engagement efforts of our local office to drive a consistent deployment of enablement priorities that delights employees and supports an elevated client experience.


RBC’s expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.


What will you do? 

  • Support the planning and delivery of local Marketing events, including liaising with internal and external stakeholders with regards to venues, catering, production and merchandise.

  • Delivery of guest list management for local and international events, liaising with client-facing colleagues to ensure deadlines are met and required information is captured.

  • Monitoring the Wealth Management Jersey inbox for client and intermediary responses and business enquiries, escalating enquiries to Manager where required.

  • Support Manager with the organisation of post-event feedback sessions, monthly marketing updates and quarterly strategy meetings, preparation of agenda and slide pack and minute taking of key meeting outcomes.

  • Support with invoicing administration; liaising directly with suppliers and managing approval flow of invoices.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.

  • Assist in tracking and reporting on marketing initiatives and event outcomes to measure effectiveness.

  • Support efforts to enhance employee engagement through the planning and delivery of local office colleague events, including liaising with internal and external stakeholders with regards to venues, catering, production and merchandise.

  • Support with logistics for senior leader events and visits including room booking, catering, agenda and logistics.

  • Gather feedback from colleagues to improve engagement initiatives and events.

  • Draft and disseminate internal communications specifically relating to the Jersey office to colleagues through newsletters, announcement spaces and TV screen slides.

  • Collaborating with senior leaders and business partners to ensure that key messaging and achievements are promoted within the business.

  • Partnering with Corporate Communications and the broader Business Enablement team to ensure the delivery of a consistent colleague communications model.

  • Agile thinking skills.

  • Competent/strong IT skills.

Nice-to-have 

  • Experience in Marketing, Communications and/or Events background.

  • Modern Project Management skills.

  • Undergraduate Degree or Equivalent.
