Job Summary: You will serve as a Senior Office Manager in the Human Capital Management Group of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Major Duties:

  • You will be the key point of contact for hiring managers, office managers, and administrative officers regarding the new hire onboarding process, ensuring new employees receive CACs, email accounts and computers their first day of work.
  • You will pull EDIPIs the morning of day one, entering them into the new hire list and emailing it to DITAC and NMCI.
  • You will maintain the HCMG Director’s Calendar, which entails scheduling and re-scheduling appointments; and schedules repair of all HCMG office automated equipment.
  • You will greet visitors and arrange for proper identification/passes/badges and/or refer them to the appropriate person.
  • You will prepare Temporary Duty travel orders, make hotel, air, and/or rental car travel arrangements, and create accompanying vouchers for HCMG employees, and resolve HCMG employees’ travel discrepancies and retains their travel records.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05/06) or pay band (DG-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Senior Office Manager. Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Editing and drafting memos; (2) Processing travel orders and vouchers in DTS; (3) Maintaining/de-conflicting calendars and scheduling appointments; and (4) Maintaining records, reports, and/or files to ensure information is accurately documented and communicated.
