Senior .NET Backend Developer - Contract

Position: Senior .Net Backend Developer

Experience: 8+ Years

Employment Type: Contract

Main responsibilities and key activities:

 

·       Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using the .NET framework.

·       Develop robust server-side components in C# to support the front-end functionalities.

·       Implement and maintain databases, ensuring efficiency and reliability.

·       Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.

·       Integrate third-party APIs and services when required.

·       Conduct thorough testing, including unit testing and integration testing, to ensure the reliability and functionality of applications.

·       Collaborate with QA teams to identify and address any bugs or issues.

·       Identify and resolve bottlenecks and performance issues within the application.

·       Optimize code for maximum efficiency and scalability.

·       Use version control systems, particularly GitHub, for effective code management and collaboration.

·       Participate in deployment and release management processes.

Your Education and/or Background Experience will have: 

                                                   

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8 to 10 years of proven experience as a .NET Developer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework.
  • Solid understanding of database design principles and experience with SQL.
  • Knowledge of software development best practices and design patterns.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in relevant technologies or frameworks.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.
  • Experience in working with DevOps practices.
  • Active participation in the open-source community or relevant coding communities.
