Senior Mobile Developer

Our iOS application is at the heart of Poka’s mission. Deployed globally, it supports frontline workers every day in manufacturing and food production environments, helping them learn, collaborate, and solve problems in real time.

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Developer to help evolve this strategic application and actively contribute to our ongoing reflection around a progressive transition toward React Native.

This role goes far beyond delivering features. You will join a small product team where every technical decision has meaningful impact. We are looking for an experienced developer who can step back, evaluate technical trade-offs, and contribute to thoughtful architectural decisions that will support the product’s growth for years to come.

What you’ll be doing:

• Maintain and evolve our native iOS application in Swift.
• Contribute to the exploration and implementation of our transition toward React Native.
• Participate in mobile architecture decisions and foundational technology choices.
• Continuously improve our engineering practices, including automation, deployment, and CI/CD.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver robust, user-centered solutions.

What we’re looking for

Required

• 4+ years of experience in native iOS development using Swift
• Strong knowledge of Apple technologies (Swift, UIKit and/or SwiftUI)
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both French and English
• Experience building client-server applications

Strong assets

• Experience with React Native
• Participation in a native-to-cross-platform migration (optional)
