About the Role

As a Senior Mining Applications Consultant – Fleet Solutions, you will be responsible for prioritizing customer needs and initiatives, shaping product roadmaps, optimizing resources and balancing solution requirements that transform the way our mining teams operate. You will collaborate closely with the ITAS team in Juruti to deliver fleet projects and system support objectives, while working on a diverse portfolio that includes Environmental, Spatial and Integrated Planning, Fleet & Maintenance systems, as well as many other opportunities to drive innovation in Mining.

You will achieve this by:

• Engage with the BPO and key business contacts across local, regional and global teams, to gather requirements, share product updates and manage expectations for fleet system initiatives.
• Collaborate with the BPO to define and maintain a product roadmap for fleet solutions that aligns with the business strategy.
• Lead the delivery of fleet product initiatives within agreed timelines and budget.
• Ensure fleet product line reliability by minimizing downtime, identifying and resolving technical issues and improving the performance of existing and newly deployed solutions.
• Identify opportunities for integration and collaboration across product lines to enhance the overall value proposition and customer experience.

What you can bring to the role

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology.
• A deep understanding of mining processes (Mine Planning, Drill and Blast, Load and Haul, Ore Handling), associated functions and the technologies that support the business.
• Strong experience with in-pit mining and fleet management applications such as, but not limited to, Fleet Management Systems, Collision Awareness, High-Precision GPS, Fatigue Management.
• Working knowledge of IT Infrastructure, Middleware, Infrastructure Services, PowerShell, Python, MS Visual Studio, and exposure to cloud technologies, APIs, Interfaces, Web services, and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Strong collaborative, communication and analytical skills.
• Advanced / Fluent English.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to engage and connect with global teams.
• Based in Juruti/PA or Santarém/PA, with mandatory on-site work 2 or 3 per week.

About the Location

Founded in 2006, with operations starting in 2009, the Juruti mine has a potential bauxite reserve of 700 million metric tons. Its current operating capacity is 7.5 million tons per year (6.5 million dry metric tons) of high-quality bauxite.
