At dentsu Finland, we are looking for a Senior Broadcast Specialist to join our diverse and agile broadcast team within our Media practice. In this senior role, you’ll leverage your deep expertise across TV, video, audio, radio, and premium video environments to deliver excellence for some of the industry’s major advertisers, both local and global.

About the role
As a Senior Broadcast Specialist at dentsu Finland, you’ll take a leading role in planning, buying, and optimizing broadcast advertising across TV, video, radio, audio, cinema and other premium video environments. You will also act as a trusted advisor for dedicated accounts, guiding clients, internal teams, and partners with strategic, consultative expertise backed by deep media knowledge.
In addition to delivering daily planning and buying, you will play a key role in pitch work, annual negotiations, partner collaborations, and competence development, both within the team and with our external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and continuous optimization of TV, video, audio, radio, and cinema campaigns
• Conduct deeper-level campaign and market analyses, identifying trends and transforming insights into strategic recommendations
• Maintain strong relationships with media partners and stay ahead of key developments in the broadcast ecosystem
• Participate in pitch processes, annual negotiations, and long‑term strategic planning together with the client and leadership teams
• Support and mentor junior team members, providing expertise, direction, and hands-on coaching
• Contribute to dentsu’s internal and external competence development through trend monitoring, knowledge sharing, and partner collaboration
• Strengthen collaboration with client services teams and act as a senior consultative voice for clients
• Identify opportunities for innovation, bringing forward new methods, tools, technologies, including emerging AI-driven approaches that enhance efficiency and performance
We are looking for you who:
• Have at least four years of hands-on experience in broadcast media planning and buying
• Possess deep knowledge of key buying platforms within TV, video, and audio; experience with programmatic buying or DV360 is considered an advantage
• Are confident working with data, insights and market intelligence to guide strategic decision-making
• Demonstrate strong organizational and project management skills in a fast-paced environment
• Have a proactive, accountable, and solution-oriented mindset
• Show strong consultative skills, helping both clients and colleagues navigate complex challenges with clarity and confidence
• Are motivated by continuous learning and enjoy developing both your own and your team’s competence
• Are curious and open to exploring new technologies, tools, and methodologies
• Thrive in an independent yet collaborative team where everyone brings their own expertise and perspective

Additional information:
We offer a full-time permanent position with a 6-month probationary period, and you will be based at our office in Helsinki, Finland. The position will be filled as soon as we have found the right candidate. Please note, that we can only accept an application from you if you are already permitted to work in Finland (EU/EEA nationals, work visas, etc.) and are already locally present.
