Senior Mechanical Simulation Engineer

We are looking for an engineer who wants to contribute to the future of mobility by supporting innovative solutions through mechanical simulations. This role focuses on FEA analysis of wiring harness components to ensure they remain reliable in harsh automotive environments.
Your Role
As a Senior Mechanical Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for performing static and dynamic FEA analyses of various wiring harness components. Typical problems analyzed using FEM methods include mechanical loads such as vibration, sealing, bending, stress, and deformation.
Key responsibilities
Perform mechanical FEA analysis required for specific case studies
Prepare clear and structured simulation reports
Optimize existing FEM methodologies and develop new ones
Improving of quality and accuracy of FEA analyses
Collaborate with customers to deliver results aligned with their requirements and standards
Key qualifications
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Understanding of material properties (plastics and metals used in the automotive industry)
Good knowledge of FEM methodologies
Good knowledge of Ansys Mechanical or Abaqus SIMULIA
Working knowledge of one 3D CAD tool (preferably NX, or CATIA, or others)
Good command of English (minimum B2 level, written and spoken)
Additional Advantages
Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical FEA
Working knowledge of Abaqus SIMULIA
Experience in the automotive industry
