Development of machines and assemblies for X-ray computed tomography
Requirement understanding with customers and cross-functional team
Concept design for customer’s requirement, especially for customerized solution
Break down requirements into components design specifications
Be familiar with industrical automation solutions, especially for transmission mechasism, servo motors, linear modules, linear motors, etc
Battery manufacturing equipments knowledge/experience is a plus
Generation of 3D models, 2D drawings and E-BOM
Performing technical calculations and analyzes (e.g. tolerances, strength, cycle time), identifying and evaluating risks and developing proposed solutions to avoid them
Regular exchange with suppliers and the teams of the other departments
Assembly and testing of prototypes, Serial launch support
Capable of troubleshooting and analyzing these issues from a system perspective, and expanding horizontally and vertically
Relevant experience in a cross-site international team is a plus
Requirements
Education
Master’s degree or above in Mechanical Engeineering or similar
Experience
Minimal of 5 years experience in mechanical design.
Experienced handling of CAD systems (preferably Creo, Solidworks)
Experience in the development and design of complex mechatronic systems, especially with fast moving parts by automated motor control and multi-axis movements.
Knowledge of transferring prototypes to series production is an advantage
SAP knowledge is an advantage
