The Opportunity:
Join CACI as a Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) and contribute to a dynamic counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS) mission that directly impacts Army warfighters. In this role, you will leverage digital engineering principles and MBSE best practices to architect, analyze, and manage intricate systems and systems-of-systems designs. Your work will be pivotal in establishing a model-driven design and integration environment, ensuring seamless interoperability across hardware, software, and system-level domains and architectures.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a vibrant team of engineers in a culture that values information sharing and teamwork.
Develop and maintain authoritative models using Cameo Systems Modeler, Cameo MagicDraw, and Cameo Teamwork Cloud, forming the digital thread across requirements, design, analysis, and verification.
Work closely with customers, E3I-T architects, and engineers to develop, maintain, and manage the system architecture model.
Coordinate with test engineers, systems engineers, operations and field support, hardware and software developers, and adjacent programs.
Qualifications:
Required:
7+ years in systems engineering, with 2+ years in MBSE and SysML modeling.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field.
Current Top Secret (TS) clearance with the ability to obtain SCI.
Technical Proficiency:
Cameo Systems Modeler and Cameo MagicDraw
Cameo Teamwork Cloud for collaborative modeling and version control
Cameo Enterprise Architect for enterprise-level model integration
SysML and UML for behavioral and structural modeling
Demonstrated experience with Model-Based Systems-of-Systems Engineering (MBSoSE) principles.
Understanding of model-driven design and digital engineering.
Familiarity with Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) or DoDAF 2.0 viewpoints.
Experience developing UML/SysML models with MBSE tools like Cameo Systems Modeler.
Experience integrating Teamwork Cloud with enterprise repositories or configuration management systems.
Understanding of model-based verification and validation (MBV&V) and simulation-driven design.
Experience implementing digital threads across design, manufacturing, and sustainment.
Knowledge of Agile / DevSecOps workflows and how MBSE supports iterative development.
Experience with the standard Systems Engineering “V” processes and lifecycle.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for data-driven decision-making.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and effectively manage daily activities.
Desired:
Experience with C-UAS and/or RF software and hardware systems.
Experience with Digital Signal Processing (DSP) software and hardware.
Understanding of SDR (Software Defined Radio) systems.
Experience with SATCOM systems.
Familiarity with Agile development and DevSecOps practices.
Experience with Jira and Confluence toolset.

$113,200 - $237,800
