Job Description:

About the Role:

As a Sr. Master Scheduler, you’ll play a key role at our corporate office based in Oak Brook, IL, by overseeing master scheduling activities and leading finite schedulers for assigned categories. This role ensures alignment between demand, capacity, inventory, and service objectives while supporting TreeHouse Foods’ Integrated Business Planning (IBP)/SIOP processes and driving operational efficiency across the supply network.

You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

  • Oversee master scheduling and provide leadership to finite schedulers for assigned categories.
  • Develop and maintain long-term production schedules, capacity plans, and people plans to support inventory, service, and cost objectives.
  • Generate weekly and monthly production and capacity plans using established systems and planning processes.
  • Maintain data integrity within planning systems to enable accurate inventory management, capacity planning, customer service, and operational metrics.
  • Lead the Supply Review portion of the monthly category-level IBP/SIOP process.
  • Proactively identify service, inventory, and capacity risks, and communicate key drivers and recommended solutions to stakeholders.
  • Track, analyze, and reconcile weekly and monthly performance metrics against established targets.
  • Review production performance and update planning rates to accurately reflect plant capabilities and available capacity.
  • Maintain, review, and update monthly inputs used to calculate safety stock levels and inventory targets.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Business Units, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure alignment and achievement of company objectives.
  • Support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process for designated categories.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance planning processes, improve operational efficiency, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Important Details:

  • This is a full-time, on-site hybrid role on first shift, based in our Oak Brook, IL office.
  • The anticipated compensation for this position ranges from $73,700.00 – $110,500.00 USD annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs. For certain roles, the successful candidate may be eligible for annual discretionary merit compensation, bonus, and equity pay.

You’ll fit right in if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Statistics, Operations Research, or related field is preferred.
  • APICS certification (CPIM/CSCP) is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in supply chain planning, production scheduling, material planning, or inventory planning.
  • Working knowledge of Integrated Business Planning (IBP)/SIOP processes and procedures is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience supervising or leading others is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Power BI, and SAP/ERP systems, with the ability to analyze data and support informed planning decisions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
