Job Accountabilities:

This candidate will be a key driver across multiple functional expertise in Converse Planning Value Stores and will be leading in Forecast Planning, Buying, Promotion and Inventory management. It is an E2E fast-paced direct to consumer role that includes forward looking strategy and portfolio planning, derivation of rolling OTB / pre-season buys, and in-season execution. He/She has to be comfortable working thru uncertainties, and be able to lead cross functional conversations, balancing business KPIs around Revenue, Margin and Inventory. He/She will also work in close partnership with Value GM, in collaboration with functional stakeholders in Finance, Merchandising, Inventory Management and Channel Retail Teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Seasonal Gates
- Pre-Season; Partnership with finance on R/O scenario planning with Read & React, driving focus around key levers
- In-Season Management; Collaboration with team on inventory & promotional plans ensuring our stores deliver against budgeted plans, in line to Revenue, Margin & Inventory targets
- Mid-Range; Working thru inventory dynamics, rolling visibility and operational feasibility to align on OTB and buy plans (skus, depth, md, st%). Partnership with Product/Merchandising on adoption on range of products to serve Value consumers
-Long-Range; CSR planning and AOP/Budgeting with focus around Retail KPIs and Portfolio management

Planning Innovation
- Drive improved visibility in Rolling Stock to Sales Plan to decision making in buy gates
- Partnership with Planning/Supply Chain stakeholders on process and implementation to short-lead time buys
- Collaboration with Merchandising on Rebuy/Seasonal Buy process for CVS – Calendar, SKU Range, Product Needs
- Improve system implementation in allocation and promotional calendar
- Demonstrate flexibility and driving implementation to different areas of focus in lieu of business dynamics and shifts

Team Driver
- Foster effective teamwork, and in connecting the dots between multiple functional areas of expertise
- Driving influence in decision making across different functions, validated thru business vision, strategies and plans
 

Job Qualifications:

  • Strong team player and ability to work with cross functional partners and senior management on all aspects of the business. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and influence others in a matrix organization
  • Advanced knowledge of MS office applications; proficiency in Excel including creating spreadsheets, complex formulas, pivot tables, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience in retail math and merchandising planning.
