The Role

The Senior Marketing Executive will work closely with the Associate Director to deliver comprehensive email prospecting campaigns across multiple divisions within UK Specialty, including construction and property, sports and entertainment, and solicitors. The successful candidate will also seek opportunities to expand these initiatives across other areas of the business, ensuring continuous growth and improvement. The preferred location for this role is London, though we remain open to candidates based in other locations.

What you’ll be doing

  • Support the planning and execution of end-to-end email prospecting campaigns, collaborating across various sector teams.

  • Utilising HubSpot and Salesforce daily to implement new campaigns, email templates, workflows, and segments (lists).

  • Help Identify and pursue opportunities to expand campaigns into new business areas.

  • Produce detailed reports on campaign performance, including open rates, trends, and return on investment (ROI).

  • Actively participate with the data team to fully understand data capture processes and their integration with telesales operations.

  • Manage campaign and project activities, efficiently communicating timelines and progress to all stakeholders.

  • On occasion chair meetings and maintain effective communication with senior stakeholders, managing their expectations and valuing their time.

  • Propose and implement ideas to support growth, including cross-sell and partnership opportunities.

  • Deliver compelling written content for various media, ensuring the use of creative structure, technical awareness, and brand tone of voice.

  • Maintain strong working relationships within the team, supporting and leading projects to facilitate team operations.

  • Apply the Howden brand creatively and accurately within all marketing communications.

Who we’re looking for

  • In-depth knowledge of HubSpot, including proficiency in accurately pulling data into segments (lists), workflows for campaigns.

  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce (including Marketing Cloud).

  • Knowledge of GDPR regulations.

  • Knowledge in Canva for creative content development (training can be given)

  • Knowledge in using Monday.com for effective project management (training can be given)

  • Demonstrated copywriting skills for diverse marketing materials.

  • Foundational understanding of marketing disciplines, with the ability to develop effective marketing plans and value propositions under guidance.

  • Strong stakeholder management and meeting facilitation skills.

  • Be able to develop awareness of marketplace trends, Howden’s product offerings, and competitor landscape.

  • Understanding of buyer profiles and the role of Marketing within the wider business.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, especially for marketing communications, self-proofing to ensure high standards.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, delivering high-quality documentation and materials.

  • Ability to efficiently manage data, conduct segmentation, and run split A/B testing, with basic knowledge of data regulations.

  • Experience in measuring and evidencing ROI for campaigns, using available resources for evaluation and reporting.

  • Expertise in email campaign creation and delivery, including workflow and reporting.

  • Proactive in suggesting impactful email campaign ideas, with expertise in structure, A/B testing, and tone of voice.

  • Collaborative team player, supportive of colleagues and team projects.

  • Innovative thinker, eager to suggest and lead improvements to marketing strategy.

  • Commercially minded and creative in approach to all tasks.

  • Self-motivated with a keen eye for detail and quality.
