The Senior Manufacturing Product Manager is a strategic manufacturing leadership role responsible for driving product industrialization, manufacturing readiness, and execution excellence for Cloud products across their lifecycle. This role partners closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, R&D, Quality, NPI, and Global Operations teams to ensure scalable, high-quality, and cost-effective manufacturing solutions that support business growth and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Process Engineering Leadership
Serve as the Process Engineering Lead for Cloud products, owning end-to-end process performance and readiness.
Provide technical leadership and governance for critical manufacturing processes, including Die Bond / Wire Bond, precision alignment, assembly, and rework operations.
Define process strategies, capability targets, control plans, and standard methodologies aligned with global manufacturing standards.
Act as the escalation point for complex process, yield, and quality issues.
Manufacturing & Product Industrialization Leadership
Drive manufacturing strategies to support product development, volume ramp, and sustaining operations.
Ensure manufacturing readiness, execution discipline, and process robustness aligned with business and technology roadmaps.
Own manufacturing risk assessment, trade-offs, and mitigation plans for assigned product lines.
New Product Introduction (NPI) & Lifecycle Management
Lead process engineering activities for NPI, product transfer, and production ramp-up.
Partner with R&D and Product Engineering to drive Design for Manufacturability, Assembly, Test, and Reliability.
Ensure structured qualification, release, and documentation of manufacturing processes, equipment, and changes.
People Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop process engineering teams to build strong technical capability and succession.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Set clear priorities, expectations, and development plans aligned with organizational goals.
Safety, Health & Environmental (EHS) Leadership
Demonstrate strong visible leadership and commitment to EHS standards and compliance.
Promote and sustain a Zero Accident Culture across manufacturing and engineering teams.
Review EHS performance, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement actions.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Optical, Industrial, or related field); Master’s preferred.
10–12+ years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or product industrialization within a high-tech manufacturing environment.
Proven leadership experience at Senior Manager level or senior individual contributor with broad manufacturing scope.
Strong background in optical, photonics, semiconductor, or electronics manufacturing.
Demonstrated experience in NPI, volume ramp, yield improvement, and sustaining engineering.
Solid understanding of process controls, SPC, DOE, PFMEA, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
Experience working in a global / matrix organization.
Fluent English communication required
