THE JOB:
At MGM Resorts, we believe every interaction is an opportunity to create a legendary experience. As the Senior Manager of Warehouse Operations, you will play a critical role in supporting our properties by ensuring the products our guests rely on are always available, in great condition, and delivered with precision.
This highly impactful role oversees daily warehouse operations across assigned properties, with accountability for team leadership, safety, inventory accuracy, budget performance, and continuous improvement. You will partner with cross-functional teams, support additional locations as needed, and drive operational excellence that directly protects and enhances the guest experience.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Lead warehouse teams with clear direction, coaching, and development to build high-performing operations.
Oversee day-to-day warehouse functions including inventory management, cleanliness, safety, and on-time delivery.
Support additional sites and key company initiatives, contributing to strategic planning and execution.
Continuously evaluate and refine processes to improve efficiency, service levels, and cost control through Lean practices.
Monitor and improve KPIs, ensuring rapid response and action planning when issues arise.
Partner closely with Finance, IT, Operations, Procurement, and vendor partners to support business needs.
Provide accurate reporting aligned with MGM Resorts Services and property accounting standards.
Manage inventory performance including usage, deadstock, par levels, and margin management.
Contribute to budget planning, forecasting, and long-term growth strategies.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards while maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment.
Lead change initiatives and implement new systems or processes with minimal disruption to operations.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
2+ years of relevant warehouse, supply chain, or operations management experience.
Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to mentor, coach, and build engaged teams.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners such as Finance, IT, and Operations.
Proven success using analytics and KPIs to drive operational decisions.
Ability to lead change, implement new technologies/processes, and champion continuous improvement.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.
Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and operational cost controls.
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a high-volume, fast-moving environment.
