Senior Manager, Technical Engineering - Liquid Parts Technical Readiness

Job Description Summary:

Overview:

The Commercial Product Supply (CPS) Organization is hiring a Technical Engineer to join the engineering team as a Technical Readiness Leader (TRL). This role is responsible for ensuring the technical readiness of new Liquid Packing equipment and systems from development through start‑up at site.

The TRL will drive robust testing of new equipment, lead FAT and OEM acceptance activities, as well as facilitate knowledge transfer to line teams by OEMs at installation sites. The role will also establish maintenance systems and continuous improvement programs for new manufacturing technologies. It will primarily support new greenfield plants and projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute factory acceptance protocols and testing plans for liquid packing platform equipment in partnership with QSE, Engineering and manufacturing teams to validate that new equipment meet specifications and required operational standards.
  • Drive the consolidation, documentation and integration of routine maintenance and diagnostic checks for new platform equipment into the CPS maintenance systems to ensure their optimal functionality and increase the mean time between failure of the equipment.
  • Lead the consolidation and digitization of equipment technical specification including operating centerlines, user manuals, maintenance manuals, operating procedures and troubleshooting guides in partnership with OEMs and platform teams.
  • Provide technical support and conduct hands-on training sessions on equipment use and maintenance for equipment operators and maintenance teams. Co-create with OEMs in digital form accessible by bar code scans or other new technologies, the training materials and troubleshooting guides.  
  • Identify and track areas of improvement for the performance and reliability of the new equipment and technologies during site start-up. Suggest and track modifications to enhance equipment availability and reliably deliver full line OEE2 and productivity targets.
  • Lead the consolidation, drive the procurement and facilitate onsite transfer of critical and minor spare parts for new equipment in partnership with OEMs, platform engineers and manufacturing teams ahead of project start-up.

Qualifications:

  • University degree preferred or applicable work experience.
  • 3-5 years of work experience. Experience in manufacturing or technical leadership role is an advantage.
  • Understanding of Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) principles and application.
  • Experience with Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) planning, line maintenance and storeroom systems.
  • Familiarity with KORE requirements, GMP, and manufacturing regulatory standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive change.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Willingness to travel internationally to supplier locations and CPS Green Field sites.

Pay Range:

$131,000 - $153,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
