Senior Manager Talent Sourcing to be based in Pune

The Senior Talent Sourcing Manager will lead and shape the strategic direction of the Talent Sourcing function across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with global Talent Acquisition (TA) priorities. This role goes beyond operational delivery to focus on innovation, scalability, and stakeholder influence, driving best-in-class sourcing strategies and building a future-ready sourcing capability.
The role requires strong leadership to manage and develop Sourcers and senior Sourcers, foster collaboration across global TA teams, and act as a trusted advisor to Business leaders. The Senior Talent Sourcing Manager will champion advanced sourcing methodologies, leverage data-driven insights, and ensure the adoption of cutting-edge technologies to deliver exceptional talent pipelines for critical and niche roles.
What will you be doing?
- Drive the adoption, use and return on investment of key TA technologies across the end to end recruitment process
- Act as a consultative, strategic partner to the TA Team and other Internal Stakeholders as to the use of direct sourcing activities and TA best practices.
- The Senior Talent Sourcing Manager will encourage and support close collaboration and networking with others in the TA Community to develop an in depth understanding of assigned requisitions.
- Ensure cost effective TA solutions are implemented to support the business needs and ensure that requisitions are filled as efficiently as possible.
- Champion a strong culture across their designated team.
- Able to identify and prioritise short and long terms delivery goals as they relate to individuals' and wider team workload.
- Supporting the rollout and day-to-day management of TA policies and initiatives.
- Working with local HR, Talent Acquisition and Regional TA Senior Director, ensure the day to day delivery of a smooth recruitment process carefully managing hiring managers and candidates expectations
- Working closely with Hiring Managers to understand their needs and ensure a strong pipeline of candidates for current and future needs.
- Lead, resource, enable, and train team of TA Sourcers focused on sourcing and evaluation of candidates to determine best fit for role and organization, while delivering an excellent candidate experience.
- Provide support, mentoring, coaching, development and leadership of a designated team, recognizing strengths and areas for development.
- Provide strategic and resource framework to team members to work with hiring managers and candidates remotely (email, phone, Teams) as well as in-person to support a multi-site environment.
- Develop and effectively implement team strategies to proactively and creatively source and recruit passive candidates to target strong industry talent.
- Build succession planning frameworks and talent development programs for sourcing teams.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with HR, TA Partners, and business leaders to align sourcing strategies with organizational goals.
- Assist the delivery of end-to-end Recruitment across multiple business units or geographies, ensuring the fulfilment of a portfolio of assigned Requisitions across the region, and delivering candidate pipelines against Hiring Manager and Stakeholder expectations.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders, Hiring Managers, HR Partners, and the wider TA partners to deliver appropriate TA solutions & proactively build pipelines.
- Coordinate, support or lead the successfully delivery of specific recruitment initiatives & and consistency of TA processes.
- To work with TA Leadership team and relevant regional leaders to support development of appropriate TA strategies to meet local demand and resource plans. To build constructive and effective business partnerships across all relevant stakeholder groups.
- Benchmark against industry best practices and introduce innovative sourcing models.
- Develop sourcing campaigns leveraging AI, automation, and advanced analytics.
- Assists in the development and implementation of creative recruiting programs to reduce agency dependency by achieving measurable targets for direct sourcing (e.g. Branding initiatives and Social Media usage).
- Introduce locally relevant initiatives to create passive talent pools and increase direct sourcing success.
- Monitors and revises relevant Recruitment Agency PSL to deliver quality candidates in a time and cost-effective manner.
- Develop and embed employer branding in supported country / countries.
- Develop and refine recruitment metrics and monthly dashboard for recruitment in respective market(s).
- Oversee optimization of TA systems (Workday, CRM, other tools) to improve efficiency and user adoption and also ensure data integrity and accuracy in WorkDay and other TA related systems.
- Drive compliance, understanding and engagement across the user community of the relevant systems that support the TA process.
- Integrate and develop recruitment processes to meet the tactical and strategic needs of the business.
- Conduct a quarterly review of the demand-planning forecast and execute recruitment solutions
What will you need to be successful?
Success in the role will require a combination of technical knowledge, soft skills, and a deep understanding of both the business and service-providing sides of an organization. Successful candidates would need the following:
- B.S. degree or equivalent experience
- Relevant and demonstrable recruitment experience gained in either an internal corporate, RPO, or agency environment.
- Experience of working with Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Experience of working successfully leading and managing individuals as a part of a remote member of a geographically disperse global team.
- Strong MS Office software experience required. Skilled in database management and record keeping.
- Strong analytical capability with respect to compensation plans, internal equity, and problem solving.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills required.
