Senior ManagerJob Description & Summary
At PwC, our people in business application consulting specialise in consulting services for a variety of business applications, helping clients optimise operational efficiency. These individuals analyse client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives. As a Solution Architect, you'll own the end-to-end technical vision for multi-cloud Salesforce implementations — from initial discovery through design, build, and post-launch optimization. You'll lead delivery teams, mentor the next generation of Salesforce consultants, and serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders. You'll also play a key role in growing the practice by leading pursuits, developing proposals, and building lasting client relationships.
This role demands equal parts technical depth and consulting leadership. You'll be hands-on in architecture decisions, actively engaged in solution design sessions, and accountable for the quality and scalability of what we deliver. If you're pursuing your CTA or already hold one, this is the platform to leverage it.
Meaningful work you’ll be part of
As a Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Own the technical design authority for enterprise Salesforce engagements — defining org strategy, data architecture, integration patterns, and security models from discovery through go-live
Lead solution architecture across Sales, Service, Experience, Data, Marketing, and Industry Clouds, ensuring designs are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with Salesforce Well-Architected principles
Conduct detailed solution design sessions with clients: gathering requirements, mapping business processes to platform capabilities, identifying gaps, and producing technical design documents
Design and govern integration architecture: REST/SOAP APIs, middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi), Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and enterprise data migration strategies
Establish and enforce DevOps standards for engagement teams: CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Copado, Gearset), branching strategies, code review processes, and deployment governance
Lead and mentor a team of 5–15 consultants (developers, configurators, and analysts) — providing technical coaching, conducting architecture reviews, and supporting career development
Serve as the escalation point for complex technical challenges: governor limit issues, large data volume strategies, performance optimization, and cross-cloud dependency management
Present architecture recommendations to executive stakeholders — translating complex technical trade-offs into business outcomes through clear communication, workshops, and review boards
Drive business development: respond to RFPs, deliver pre-sales solution presentations, scope and estimate engagements, develop proposals and SOWs, and build executive relationships
Conduct architecture assessments and health checks for prospective and existing clients — identifying technical debt, scalability risks, security gaps, and optimization opportunities
Define and improve PwC's Salesforce delivery methodology, reference architectures, estimation models, and reusable accelerators based on lessons learned across engagements

We’re committed to providing accommodation throughout the application, interview, and employment process. If you require accommodation to be at your best, please let us know during the application process. The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in recruiting is just getting started, so we know you have questions about how and why we use it. At certain points during our recruiting process, we rely on AI to improve your experience. This could be during resume review or curating personalized job recommendations, asking you clarifying questions via a chatbot or during our interview scheduling to improve your experience. Our use of AI helps ensure we combat bias by evaluating candidates equally and fairly, without seeing identity information, such as your name, or gender for example). AI also helps us better predict successful hires by reviewing all applicants for a role and the relationship between your skills, experience and likely success at PwC Canada. While AI supports parts of our recruitment process, final hiring decisions always involve human review. For more information about our use and protection of your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy (https://www.pwc.com/ca/en/privacy-policy.html).Nous tenons à répondre à vos besoins tout au long du processus de demande d’emploi, d’entrevue et d’embauche.
