What you'll do:

DSP Strategy & Campaign Management:

  • Develop, implement, and manage end-to-end digital marketing campaigns for new releases, with a core focus on DSP performance.
  • Secure and optimize key promotional placements across all DSPs, including playlist adds (editorial and algorithmic), homepage features, new release banners, and programmatic advertising.
  • Serve as the primary internal and external point of contact for all DSP partners, building and maintaining strong, productive relationships.

 

Marketing Initiatives Development:

  • Propose and pilot innovative marketing tactics to optimize the exposure of our new releases and maximize catalog potential.
  • Stay ahead of the latest trends, tools, and best practices in the digital music landscape, especially new features and promotional opportunities on DSPs.

 

Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Lead the digital marketing planning process for assigned projects, presenting strategies and results to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Label Management Team to enhance the visibility and impact of priority releases across all DSPs.

 

Team Development:

  • Provide active support and guidance to direct team members, facilitating problem resolution and implementing processes that enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Act as a role model by demonstrating best practices for effective communication and pitching approaches with DSPs.

 

Who you are:

  • 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing, with a minimum of 3+ years focused specifically on music marketing at a label, distributor, or DSP.
  • Proven, demonstrable track record of successfully launching and managing music campaigns that resulted in significant growth in streams or playlist placements.
  • Established relationships with key contacts at major DSP is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
