Senior Manager, Publications Systems & Operations

We are seeking a senior manager to serve as the key contact for the operation and governance of the BeOne Medicines global publications database system (GPMS). The senior manager will lead the creation of individual activities and support the maintenance of the database. This individual will be responsible for ensuring compliance with SOP and good publication practices. The senior manager will support the generation of global and regional metrics and help develop communications to this effect for distribution to cross-functional teammates and partners. The senior manager will also support the Publication Operations lead. This is a single contributor, remote position.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Management of in-house medical communications projects from inception to completion

  • Key contact for GPMS operations and governance across BeOne publications

  • Support the maintenance of the GPMS; facilitate all internal efforts for vendor enhancements, customization, and maintenance of the publication database

  • Support internal publication audits to ensure publications are being developed in an ethical and SOP-compliant manner

  • Provide GPMS onboarding and training for internal team members, cross-functional partners, and vendor partners to ensure compliance with BeOne policies

  • Ensure publications/communications are archived appropriately to document compliance with SOPs and Good Publication Practices

  • Support development of regular communications for distribution to cross-functional teams

Minimum Requirements – Education and Experience

  • BA/BS in life sciences or related field; advanced degree (MS; PhD) and/or professional certificate (CMPP) encouraged

  • Minimum of 7+ years of relevant publications experience (or 5+ years with a Master’s degree), with a strong emphasis on project management in context of global publication operations, gained through working in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical sector or at a medical communications agency

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for data accuracy and project quality

  • Experience working globally, cross-functionally, and cross culturally

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with publication operations at the enterprise level, including reporting activity metrics, conducting project records audits, and publication management software administration

  • Prior experience with project management practices for publication deliverables, especially in oncology (hematology or solid tumor) and/or HEOR

  • Familiarity with managing development of software training materials and creating content for publication management software

  • Familiarity with hosting training sessions for publication management software to enforce compliance standards and best practices

 Computer Skills

  • Expert user of publication management and tracking tools. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Sharepoint, and Teams. Efficient in project management tools.

 

Travel

  • Work-related travel approximately 5%.

Salary Range: $137,200.00 - $182,200.00 annually

BeOne is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation packages are determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Packages may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor. The recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for a preferred location during the hiring process.  Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
