Senior Manager, Product Management - Integrated Steppers

(Robotics and Automation, Novanta)

Location: Barcelona, Spain or Germany

You will lead the integrated stepper motor product portfolio within Novanta’s Robotics and Automation segment. You will define product direction and work closely with engineering and commercial groups to deliver precision motion solutions used in advanced automation and robotic platforms.

What you will do

  • Define portfolio strategy and translate it into a roadmap that supports revenue and margin goals.
  • Partner with engineering, sales, operations, and marketing to shape product requirements and customer value.
  • Use market insight and data to size opportunities and support decision‑making.
  • Improve product management processes and ensure consistent portfolio practices.
  • Build strong cross‑functional relationships to remove barriers and keep delivery on track.

What you bring

  • MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or another relevant technical field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical leadership role.
  • Experience in pricing strategy, product lifecycle management, and agile development.
  • Ability to balance technical, commercial, and customer inputs.
  • Strong analytical judgment and the ability to draw clear conclusions.
  • Experience identifying opportunities and supporting go‑to‑market plans.
