As Senior Manager Product Management (m/f/d), under the general supervision of the Director Marketing, you will be responsible for leading the Independent Aftermarket portfolio for the full Clarios product line. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the P&L and drive product strategy, lifecycle management, and market success across EMEA. You will lead a team of five Product Managers and analysts, ensuring alignment with customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.

The position will be based in our Clarios EMEA office in Hannover, Germany.

What you will do

As Senior Manager Product Management (m/f/d), your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving an entrepreneurial and commercial mindset with dotted-line P&L oversight, supporting sales monitoring and advancing the PC and CV spare parts business.

  • Defining and executing the product strategy and roadmap for the Independent Aftermarket portfolio in line with business and market requirements.

  • Building and managing relationships with key customers and partners to gather insights and ensure strong product-market fit.

  • Leading and developing a team of five product specialists and analysts, fostering ownership and continuous improvement.

  • Managing the full product lifecycle, ensuring portfolio performance and profitability.

  • Conducting market and competitor analyses to identify opportunities and risks.

  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance and cross-regional with our local Marketing and Sales offices to support launches and lifecycle activities.

  • Defining KPIs and monitoring performance, initiating corrective actions to achieve revenue and margin targets.

  • Reporting and presenting strategy, results, and plans to C-level management to drive alignment and commitment.

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Several years of professional experience in product management, preferably within the automotive aftermarket or spare parts environment.

  • Self-driven, hands-on mindset with strong ownership mentality.

  • Experience in organizational transformation and change processes.

  • Proven leadership experience (5+ years) with direct responsibility for team management.

  • Demonstrated experience in introducing and managing product portfolios across their full lifecycle.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, combined with a structured problem-solving approach.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities across organizational levels.

  • Entrepreneurial and growth-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership.

  • Fluency in German and English.

  • Willingness to travel across EMEA up to 25% of working time.
