We are looking for a Senior Manager, Product Insights to join the Marketplace Insights team. You will represent the voice of the consumer in shaping product strategy and execution across the marketplace, partnering with Product, Merchandising, Design, and Commercial teams. The Senior Manager will translate complex business and product questions into clear, actionable insight plans that inform decisions across the product lifecycle—from early strategy and line architecture through in-season optimization and future pipeline development.
The scope spans near-term priorities while also building scalable approaches and learning agendas that extend into future years. As part of the Global Marketplace Insights team, you are charged with helping set the global agenda and roadmap while applying and shaping global best practices in the product space. You will report to the Sr. Director of Marketplace Insights for Product, DTC, and US-Can Insights.
Product Insights Leadership
Be a trusted insights partner to Product, Merchandising, and Design, embedding the consumer perspective into key product decisions.
Translate product and business questions into clear research objectives and insight plans and own end-to-end execution of product-focused research
Deliver insights that inform product strategy, line planning, and prioritization.
Track and synthesize consumer, category, and competitive trends for stakeholders.
Integration Across the Product Lifecycle
Lead insight inputs into key product milestones
Create repeatable, scalable ways of promoting insight into product workflows.
Research Excellence & Knowledge Building
Use existing knowledge and secondary sources.
Improve tools, methodologies, and outputs.
Stakeholder Partnership & Influence
Build strong relationships with senior cross-functional partners.
Communicate insights clearly to varied audiences.
Be a connector across insight teams.
About You
5+ years of experience in consumer, product, or marketplace insights; apparel/retail experience is a plus.
Experience executing and analyzing a range of qualitative and quantitative market research methods, including primary survey research, shopalongs, and syndicated data analysis.
Ability to understand, integrate and synthesize a wide array of primary and secondary data to inform insightful observations and clear, actionable business implications.
Ability to work collaboratively with outside third-party and wide range of internal business partners across the world.
Experience operating in a collaborative, team-based, performance-driven manner. Ability to gain credibility as functional expert and become a valued and integrated partner.
Proven people-management or coaching experience.
This is a hybrid work schedule based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs.
The expected starting salary range for this role is $135,200 - $170,000 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
