The Sr. Manager, Packaging Workflow Technologist is responsible for driving the operational execution, optimization, and continuous innovation of the end‑to‑end packaging graphics workflow across the North America Operating Unit. This role serves as the functional owner of packaging workflow management in KO Art and is responsible for accelerating speed‑to‑market, strengthen governance, reduced manual work, and improved quality and compliance through tech-augmented packaging workflow.

The Sr. Manager plays a pivotal role connecting Marketing, Design, Packaging Graphics, Legal/SRA, Commercial, and Supply Chain—ensuring packaging workflows operate with consistency, accuracy, and real-time visibility.

Focus, Scope & Impact

  • Lead packaging graphics workflow in MarTech tools Adobe Workfront and KO Art, the orchestration backbone for all packaging graphics workflows, ensuring systems, routines, templates, and reporting are accurate, stable, and continuously optimized.
  • Lead day-to-day workflow operations across innovation and base business packaging, ensuring milestones, dependencies, briefs, approvals, and proofs move efficiently through the system.
  • Maintain quality standards, compliance, regulatory accuracy, and design integrity across all branded packaging, tracking all in KO Art
  • Leverage AI-enabled features within KO Art (e.g., compliance checks, automated metadata, proofing accelerators) to reduce cycle time and increase first-pass accuracy.
  • Collaborate with MarTech Workflow Technologist team to build and enhance Workfront dashboards, reporting, and operational routines that provide visibility to project status, bottlenecks, workload allocation, and risks associated with packaging.
  • Support Marketing, Creative, and Brand teams with packaging briefing excellence, ensuring brand intent and design strategy are accurately translated into workflow inputs.
  • Drive process standardization and simplification—creating fast-track workflows, templates, and automated steps to reduce manual touches and eliminate rework.
  • Ensure all packaging workflows meet compliance standards, legal/regulatory requirements, and quality protocols for trademark stewardship, color accuracy, and brand consistency, and ensure all approvals are tracked in Adobe Workfront and / or KO Art as defined by our total marketing workflow.  
  • Lead operational execution of all packaging graphics workflows across KO Art and Workfront, serving as the primary platform SME and day-to-day owner.
  • Monitor operational performance, quality KPIs, cycle time, and adherence to workflow standards.
  • Support governance routines including pipeline reviews, prioritization sessions, and risk assessments.
  • Lead simplification initiatives such as fast-track workflows, simplified graphics paths, and optimized templates.
  • Identify best practices, industry innovations, and emerging technologies to continually elevate the packaging operating system.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 5 years experience in packaging graphics, marketing operations, workflow management, or creative/production operations.
  • Understanding of packaging graphics development, prepress, color management, and print production.
  • Expertise in workflow design and administration within Workfront, KO Art, or comparable platforms.
  • Experience deploying automation, AI tools, digital proofing, or workflow integrations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience leading cross‑functional teams and influencing senior leaders.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex workflows and create scalable, user-friendly systems.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with Adobe Workfront.
  • KO Art or equivalent packaging workflow platform knowledge.
  • Familiarity with digital proofing solutions and color management workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience building dashboards, reports, and operational insights.

Pay Range:

$139,600 - $157,900

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
