Job Expectations

We have an exciting opportunity at nbn for a Senior Manager P&C Data & AI Governance and Delivery. This role will report to the Executive Manager P&C Digital Transformation.

A bit about your role

This role will lead the development and execution of nbn’s People & Culture data strategy and roadmap, shaping how people data is governed, protected and used responsibly across the organisation. You will play a central to embedding strong data governance within P&C, particularly given the sensitivity of people data, guiding everything from system access and audit processes to security reviews, approvals and capability uplift across the business.

You will support the identification and development of high‑value data and AI use cases, partnering with teams to enhance reporting, refine insights and contribute to the delivery of nbn’s One Model analytics platform. This will see you steering the P&C Data & AI roadmap, drive the delivery of prototypes of advanced AI and machine learning concepts, and identifying opportunities for automation using emerging tools. You will also champion Responsible AI practices, setting guardrails that ensure people data is used safely, ethically and with care.

Through your leadership, nbn will strengthen the integrity, capability and potential of its people data and AI ecosystem, enabling decisions that support the growth, wellbeing and impact of our workforce.

A bit about you

You are detail‑oriented and confident working with sensitive information, ensuring accuracy, compliance and care in every aspect of your work. Your technical background spans a range of data platforms and tools, and you are comfortable working with enterprise analytics environments, including One Model.

You build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups, guiding them with clarity through the responsibilities, opportunities and risks that come with managing people data and AI‑enabled solutions. You bring a curious, forward‑looking mindset, and you enjoy turning strategy into action whether you are shaping new reports, developing data products, experimenting with AI and machine learning prototypes, or exploring opportunities for automation.
